But how do you cook plantains to bring out their best flavor? We recently had the chance to answer that question while showcasing plantains at London Fashion Week alongside Nosakhari’s Able-Graphy collection.

WHAT DID THE EXPERT HAD TO SAY...

Nosakhari’s Able-Graphy collection explored storytelling through design, featuring the Able bag as a canvas for artists to share emotions and narratives. We were honored to provide plantain-based canapés at the event, which seamlessly blended with the collection’s artistic vision and the vibrant atmosphere of London Fashion Week.

Why Plantains?

Plantains have a rich cultural history, deeply embedded in African, Caribbean, and Latin American food traditions. For us, cooking plantains is about more than just preparing food—it’s about connecting with heritage and celebrating diverse culinary influences. Events like Nosakhari’s Able-Graphy showcase offer the perfect platform to share these stories while elevating plantains in modern cooking.
